Truly, you are a God who hides himself,
O God of Israel, the Savior. – Isaiah 45:15
Do your prayers ever feel one sided? Would you ever summarize your prayer life as a perpetually inconsistent, one-sided conversation between you and yourself?
When was the last time you felt like God said something to you in return?
If you’re like me you can understand the struggle of rarely hearing from God.
Sometimes, I try to convince myself that it’s my lack of focus, or me being tired, or just not knowing the right formula. But, maybe, it’s not me. Maybe… it’s not me!
And, maybe it’s not you…
Maybe, the struggle in our prayers is not our issue, but God’s. Maybe, it’s God’s problem. Or, to say it a different way, maybe it’s the problem of God.
