A poem of hope to find the always present LIGHT

God is with you in the dark
He burns with hidden face
The shadow of creation’s spark
Has covered time and space
–
The land in darkness waited long
But saw the prophet’s vow
The Savior brought about the dawn
that death could not endow
–
At noon the sky had lost the sun
As men became more blind
Golgotha held the dying Son
Who held the light they’d find
–
At three o’ clock a voice cried out
Alas, forsaken love
The clouds of sky could not enshroud
Our Father from above
